A man has been sentenced to 23 years in prison following the brutal murder of his partner, NHS worker Nicola Woodman, on Christmas Day last year.
On 26th December 2016, the ambulance service was contacted by a man, later to be known as James Hutchinson.
He stated he was the partner of Nicola Woodman and that somebody had been stabbed at their home address. Hutchinson also stated that the body had been there for over 12 hours.
Police attended the property in the Holme Wood area of Bradford and found the badly mutilated body of Nicola Woodman.
In total, Nicola suffered 102 injuries to her body. She had been stabbed at least 24 times.
Hutchinson was located the day after and arrested for her murder.
