Police have launched an investigation after a man was shot in his stomach in Prestwich.
Shortly before 8.40pm on Monday 27 November, police were called to reports that a man had been shot at a property on Glebelands Road.
Three men had forced entry and gone through the victim’s home, finding him on the stairs where a shotgun was fired at the man.
The 49-year-old made his way into the bedroom, where he then rang for the ambulance service.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and remains in a serious condition.
