Manchester is gearing up for a day of celebration on Sunday 17 June.
Manchester Day has grown year on year, with more than 1,500 people invited to parade through the city centre to celebrate this year’s theme: The Word on the Street.
More than 60 community groups have worked with the region’s top artists for months to create the thousands of individual artworks – from the gigantic floats to the props and costumes.
