Former TV star and famous Hollywood actor George Clooney has made the headlines after he surprised an elderly fan by visiting her in her assisted living home to wish her a happy 87th birthday.
Pat Adams had repeatedly wished, through the “Wish upon a star” program that she’d one day come face-to-face with her idol – who coincidentally owns a home very close to the facility in Reading.
Linda Jones, a worker at the Retirement and Assisted Living Facility said “Pat was delighted and surprised when George greeted her with a bouquet of flowers and a card. She is still beaming from ear to ear after he turned up unannounced.”
