Four people have been charged after a collision in Bolton which has left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
31 year old Mohammed Usman Bhatti of St. Helens Road Bolton has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury, fail to stop, fail to report an RTC, and perverting the course of justice. He has been remanded into custody to appear at Bolton Crown Court on 03/01/17.
27 year old Nicholas Montgomery of Musgrave Street, Bolton, has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury. He has been bailed to appear at Bolton Crown Court on 03/01/17.
29 year old Katie Louise Smith of Bowstone Rise, Darcy Lever, has been charged with perverting the course of justice. She has been bailed to appear at Bolton Crown Court on 03/01/17.
32 year old Daniel James Smith of Weston Street, Great Lever, has been charged with possession of a class B drug.
Shortly before midnight on Saturday 26 November 2016, a 53-year-old man was crossing Bradford Street, heading south.
An Audi RS3 and an Audi S3 were driving on Bradford Street when the RS3 collided with the man.
He was taken to Salford Royal Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
The Audi RS3 failed to stop at the scene, but the Audi S3 stopped.
