Bradford Council is set to stage a spectacular gigantic illuminated sculpture show in City Park from tonight.
French master light artists T.I.L.T, who brought the remarkable illuminated sculpture show, Garden of Light to Bradford Centenary Square in 2012, return with a stunning new show.
59 gigantic light sculptures will grace City Park’s mirror pool in Forest of Light which has been specifically designed for Bradford’s multi-award winning public space.
Visitors to the show can expect a breath-taking array of visual effects with beautiful iridescent shades of red, green, orange and gold reflecting in City Park’s mirror pool.
Forest of Light promises to be a visual feast and the council is encouraging people to bring their phones and share pictures on social media using the hashtag, #ForestofLight.
Forest of Light opens in City Park, Bradford tonight and runs every evening from dusk until 10pm until Sunday 9 October.
Coun Alex Ross-Shaw, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, Planning and Transport, said: “City Park events have played, and continue to play, an important role in Bradford’s regeneration drawing people back into the city centre and generating positive word of mouth.”
