Footage that emerged of a mass brawl involving children in Ashton-under-Lyne has prompted Greater Manchester Police to increase patrols in the area.
Around 20 youngsters can be seen fighting on a playing field, including both boys and girls. It appears two of them fall to the ground after being hit.
The incident is believed to have taken place on 19 April. The police said a 13-year-old girl suffered minor injuries and that the incident was being dealt with by means of “restorative justice”.
