Five people have been arrested as part of a crackdown on an organised crime group operating across several areas in England.
Warrants were executed as part of Operation Hansford to target an organised crime group believed to be involved in crimes committed across England, spanning several force areas- including Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Lancashire.
As part of Operation Hansford detectives have investigated 120 offences including aggravated burglary, robbery, car theft, assault, violent disorder and criminal damage – all believed to be orchestrated by the same organised crime group.
Five men – aged, 22, 28, 28, 30 and 38 – have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit burglary.
