Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a road traffic collision near Morley on Saturday morning (28/5).
Leeds District CID would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident which took place on the A653 Dewsbury Road, Morley.
The incident took place at about 4.20am after the victim, a 24-year-old Bradford man, was in collision with a Skoda Octavia car.
The car had been heading towards Leeds when it was in collision with the man, who was in the carriageway.
He suffered serious head injuries as a result of the collision and passed away shortly afterwards at Leeds General Infirmary.
DI Mark Atkinson of Leeds District CID, said: "An investigation is ongoing today into the circumstances of this collision and we would like to speak to anyone who can assist with enquiries.
" We would particularly like to speak to anyone who may have seen the man or the car in the moments before the collision took place.
"Anyone who has information should contact Leeds District CID on 101."
