Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Wyke.
At 11am yesterday (Wednesday, March 1), emergency services were called to Whitehall Road, where a 68 year old male pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a lorry.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by police.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or the lead up to the collision. Witnesses are requested to contact Kirklees CID on 101
