An investigation has been launched in Kirklees following an attempted robbery in Cleckheaton where an elderly man was threatened in his home.
The incident occurred around 6.15pm at an address at Pyenot Gardens on Friday evening, 10 November, when an unknown male entered the property and made requests for the keys to a vehicle parked on the drive.
The victim, an 83-year-old man, first refused, before the suspect threatened him with a knife and pushed him several times.
The victim managed to pull his audible alarm and the suspect made off empty handed.
