An elderly man has been left fighting for his life following a collision with a skip truck in Stockport.
Shortly before 12.45pm on Wednesday 22 November, a black Audi A5 and a DAF skip truck were involved in a collision on Chester Road as they drove in opposite directions.
The driver of the Audi, a 76-year-old man, is believed to have taken ill at the wheel before his car collided with the skip truck.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
The driver of the skip truck was not injured but remained at the scene to speak with officers.
No arrests have been made.
