Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Shipley.
At about 7.03pm on Sunday 8 May, a VW Golf was stationary in traffic on the Bradford Road towards Bingley, when it was struck from behind by a Mercedes C180 at the junction with Birklands Road
An elderly female passenger in the Mercedes was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which were not believed to be life threatening.
She remains in hospital today in a stable condition.
The elderly male driver of the Mercedes was also taken to hospital and remains there today in a stable condition.
The occupants of the Golf received minor injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or the movements of the Mercedes prior to it is asked to contact PC 4774 Oliver at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101.
