A woman has been left fighting for her life after a “double stabbing” in Salford.
The victim, a woman in her 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital. A man, understood to be her husband, was also attacked and received a number of slash wounds.
The incident took place on Eastcombe Avenue in Kersal. A 20-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at the scene.
