A delivery driver has been jailed for four years following a sexual assault on a vulnerable Birmingham woman.
Wasim Bhar, from Sweetmoor Close, Castle Bromwich, was convicted of the sexual assault at Leamington Court.
The 24-year-old self-employed delivery driver sexually abused a 52-year-old woman after delivering a parcel to her home on Thursday 7 January.
Detective Constable Katy Roberts, from the force’s Public Protection Unit, said: "I want to reassure the public that these types of sexual crimes are thankfully very rare.”
"The fact that Bhar had gained the victim’s trust and used his role as a delivery driver to gain access to her house was very concerning and the crime was treated as very serious. The attack was clearly premeditated and was extremely callous.”
