It has been reported that a former glamour model from Bradford has been arrested on suspicion of possessing terrorist material.
It has been reported by the BBC that the 27 year old detained on Friday by counter terrorism officers is Kimberley Miners.
As part of an ongoing police investigation officers from the North East CTU arrested a 27 year old woman from Bradford on Friday (October 7, 2016), on suspicion of the possession of terrorist material.
The woman was arrested under Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000; possessing a document or record which contains information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
She has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A residential property in Bradford was searched in connection with this investigation.
