Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Halifax on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at around 11.30am when a silver Volkswagen Golf and skip truck were in collision on Rochdale Road, near to the junction of Pye Nest Road in Halifax.
The driver of the Golf, an 82-year-old man and the front seat passenger a 79-year-old man were taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary - both sustained serious injuries.
Officers are appealing to anyone who have been in the area and saw either vehicle in the time before the incident, or who witnessed the collision itself to come forward.
