Police were called outside Barclays Bank last night after a report was made of burglary.
Officers had attended the incident which took place at around 10:14pm, on Carlisle Street, Manningham, and found a room at the back of the bank had been broken into. It is not known yet if anything was taken.
The building has been cordoned off and customers are being directed to alternative branches.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police has said: “A search of the area was made but the suspects were believed to have left the scene.”
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity is asked to contact the Police.
