A celebration for Windrush Day in Bradford has received a windfall.
Bradford’s bid for £10,000 from the government’s Windrush Day Grant Scheme has been successful.
The cash will be used to hold over three days of events across the Bradford district from Friday 21 June to Sunday 23 June.
The scheme aims to support communities to educate, commemorate and celebrate the contributions of the Windrush Generation and their descendants.
