A man has been jailed for smashing into six parked cars on a Bradford street over a family feud.
Jamil Ali, 31, rammed into the vehicles on Dorset Street, Little Horton, Bradford on 9 January, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Bradford Crown Court heard how Ali lied to police, claiming he had been kidnapped and threatened with a weapon at the time of the incident.
The court was told that a family dispute arose out of Ali’s marriage to the sister of his co-defendant in the affray, Imran Najib, 38.
Ali pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice, dangerous driving and six offences of criminal damage and was sentenced to three years in prison.
