A father of three has been jailed after crashing his car in a high speed police chase and fleeing on foot.
30 year old Martin Osborne, of Sedgewick Close, Manningham, attempted to evade the police as he ran from the scene of the crash but was caught within 5 minutes.
Bradford Crown Court heard how Osborne jumped a red light shortly after midnight on October 25th 2016 and was pursued by the police before fishtailing the car on Brighouse Road, in Hipperholme. Osborne offered no explanation for his behaviour but has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC, banned Osborne from driving for 12 months & sentenced him to six months behind bars.
