Bradford Council will today, 27 November, announce its budget plans.
As the government funding reductions continue, Bradford Council Leader Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe will talk about Bradford Council’s savings proposals for the next two years.
The proposals are being launched against a backdrop of seven years of funding reductions to the council’s budget alongside what the council says are growing demands for services and rising costs.
The council says Coun Hinchcliffe will also announce new plans to stimulate economic growth in the district and build the council’s income in the coming years as the government is set to cut its main revenue support grant entirely by 2020.
