A Bradford man with hopes of pursuing a career in boxing has been jailed for dangerous driving.
Theophilus Barrett was sentenced for two offences of dangerous driving in the space of four months.
Bradford Crown Court heard how the 25-year-old’s first offence involved a pursuit in which he crashed a BMW into six other vehicles, on the streets of Bradford.
The second offence occurred when Barrett was on bail and sped away from officers in a friend’s car.
He was jailed for a total of 42 months and will start a three-year driving ban when he is released from his jail term.
