Police are aware of the existence of video footage of an alleged assault, which took place in the Knottingley area of Wakefield and was reported on the 2nd of March.
Officers are speaking to all those concerned and are conducting active enquiries in to the incident and the circumstances leading to it.
Police are also aware of threatening comments circulating on social media in relation to the video and would seek to remind people of the potential offences they may be committing in doing so.
Police Officers are conducting additional neighbourhood patrols in the area to offer reassurance to the community.
