Arrests have been made following a fatal house fire in Salford.
Shortly before 5.00am on Monday 11 December, emergency services were called to Jackson Street in Walkden to reports of a house fire.
On attendance, efforts were made to rescue the people inside the house but tragically, a boy aged eight and two girls aged seven and 14 died.
A three-year-old girl remains in a critical condition and a 35-year-old woman remains in a serious condition, both in hospital.
Two 16-year-old boys were able to escape the property.
Officers have arrested three men and a woman in connection with the investigation on suspicion of murder.
A 24-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
