A man has been arrested after a pedestrian was killed in a suspected hit-and-run incident in Halifax.
The collision took place at 9.05pm on Saturday 29 September on Skircoat Moor Road. The 35-year-old man who was hit by the vehicle died at the scene.
The driver of the car failed to stop, with the vehicle later found abandoned near the scene.
West Yorkshire Police said they were contacted by a man who was then arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
