Detectives in Halifax are appealing for witnesses following a robbery on Sunday evening in Pye Nest.
It happened around 9pm, when two masked men entered the Sainsbury's Local Store on Park Drive armed with a machete. They threatened store workers and demanded cash before making off with an amount of money.
The suspects are believed to have left the scene in silver or grey coloured saloon-type vehicle. This vehicle drove off down Rochdale Road towards Crow Wood Park.
Detective Sergeant Ross Wadsworth of Calderdale CID said; "I would appeal to anyone who was around the area on Sunday evening who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously, or who may have seen a vehicle matching the description in the area in the time before the incident, or who has witnessed the vehicle driving away from the scene to come forward. Enquiries are continuing."
