Armed police descended on Scholemoor following reports of a man with a gun.
At around 9.45am yesterday morning, 30 November, a man was seen allegedly entering a house with a firearm on Scholemoor Lane.
West Yorkshire Police said after a search of the premises they could not find the suspect or any weapons but a quantity of cannabis was recovered.
Officers remained at the scene to conduct further enquiries.
