Residents of Bradford witnessed a number of armed police raiding properties yesterday evening, 29 May.
At around 5pm armed police attended two addresses in the Manningham area due to reports of an incident of a man having a gun pointed at him.
Police have said: “Properties on Oak Lane and Devonshire Terrace were searched and a number of people were spoken to, but no arrests were made and no weapon was located.”
As police were carrying out searches at the properties it is believed gunshots were heard on Marlborough Road at around 6.30pm.
A vehicle was recovered for forensic examination and police are conducting further enquiries to locate the suspects involved.
Police say the incidents are not related to terrorist activities.
