Bradford Council’s Executive will be asked to approve Area Action plans which will help to build on the on-going regeneration of Bradford city centre.
Councillors will be asked to adopt plans for both Bradford City Centre and the Shipley and Canal Road Corridor at their meeting next week.
The plans will provide a blueprint for future developments and be used as a framework for determining planning applications over the next 15 years.
The council says there are already several key regeneration schemes in the pipeline for the city centre with the NEC Group having been chosen as the operating partner for the Bradford Odeon, major plans in place to transform Bradford markets, a £17m redevelopment of the Forster Square Station and the Light Cinema complex which is currently under construction.
