Police are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision on Shipley Airedale Road in Bradford.
The collision happened at 14:40 on Sunday 12 July when a black Yamaha motorbike which was travelling towards Shipley.
The bike collided with the pavement which caused the rider to fall off the bike. No other vehicles were involved.
The 72-year-old male rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for urgent medical treatment.
No one else was injured.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any further information or dashcam footage is asked to contact the police via 101 quoting log number 1143 of 12 July.
