Police are appealing for information after a woman was seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Bradford.
The Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support Unit West (SRANS) would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident which took place at about 9.40am yesterday on Hunters Park Avenue, Clayton, Bradford.
It took place after a VW Passat, was in collision with a 73-year-old Bradford woman on Hunters Park Avenue. The car was on the pavement when the collision took place.
The woman suffered a number of injuries to her body which are serious but not believed to be life threatening.
She was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
Anyone who saw the collision or the car or the pedestrian before the collision took place is asked to contact PC 665 Simon Ellis at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support unit on 101.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following the incident and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
