Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured in a attack in Huddersfield yesterday.
The 32-year-old man received a serious head injury when he was assaulted by a male with a machete at the Spa Car Wash on Manchester Road in Thornton Lodge, on Sunday, July 3.
Police were alerted at about 14.40pm when the victim attended Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition, with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detective Constable Paul Morrision of Kirklees CID said; "I would appeal to anyone who was in and around the area on Sunday afternoon who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have any information to come forward. Enquiries are ongoing."
