Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in South Elmsall
Officers were called just after 5.45pm on Monday to a two car collision on the A638 Doncaster Road, near to the junction of Field Lane.
Six people were injured in the collision, which involved a Silver Ford Fiesta and a Black Vauxhall Astra.
Two men remain in a critical condition in hospital and a third person sustained serious injuries. Three other people involved in the collision sustained minor injuries. The road was closed to allow forensic examinations to be carried out and enquiries are on-going.
