Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a road traffic collision in Halton on Monday 12 December which has now resulted in a man dying from his injuries
The incident happened at 7.33am and involved a silver/grey coloured Skoda Fabia and a cyclist on the A6120 Ring Road near to the junction with Whitkirk Lane close to what is locally known as Colton roundabout.
The 58-year-old cyclist was taken to Leeds General Infirmary in a serious condition and died in the early hours of Thursday 22 December.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses - and in particular anyone who saw either the car or the cyclist - immediately before the collision or the collision itself
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Major Collision and Enquiry Team on 101.
