Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery at a travel agents in Huddersfield.
Huddersfield CID would like to speak to anyone who has information about the incident which took place at about 4.45pm at a premises on Westbourne Road on Monday July 11.
it took place after the suspect entered the premises and demanded money from two female employees whilst brandishing a knife.
He fled empty handed after one of the women phoned the police.
The suspect was described as white, in his late 20's, skinny and with dark hair.
He was wearing a blue kagool with the hood pulled down and dark bottoms.
DC Shaun Topham of Huddersfield CID, said: "This was clearly a very frightening experience for both members of staff at the store, who were left unhurt but understandably very upset.
"Enquiries are ongoing and we would very much like to speak to anyone who has information.
Any witnesses to this incident or anyone who saw this male in the minutes before or after the attempted robbery are asked to contact DC5991 Morrison at Huddersfield CID on 101.
