An investigation has been launched after a man was critically injured when his paraglider crashed to the ground.
Shortly after 8am on Sunday 21 May 2017, police were called to reports that a paraglider had crashed at City Airport in Salford.
The ambulance service attended and a 55-year-old man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The cause of the incident is as yet unclear, so police are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.
