Appeal After Man Collapses In Batley

Police are appealing for anyone who saw a man who is believed to have collapsed on Bradford Road, Batley on Tuesday 26 April.

The 47-year-old local man is thought to have had a medical episode and was found at just before 5pm. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to see how the man came to be on the pavement. A number of people are thought to have given medical assistance prior to the ambulance arriving. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 1054 of Tuesday 26 April.
