Police investigating an abduction in Oldham have located the victim.
At around 2.50pm on Monday, 31 October 2016, a 16 year-old-girl was on Shaw Road when a man in a silver car took hold of her and pushed onto the front seat.
A silver Skoda Octavia has since been seized.
After extensive enquiries, the girl has been found safe and well and is receiving support from specially trained officers.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed until 16 January 2017 pending further enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Graham Heaney of GMP’s Oldham borough, said: “Fortunately, we have found the girl safe and well with her family."
“We have arrested a man in connection with the incident however, our enquiries are ongoing and we need assistance from the public to move forward with our investigation."
“I’m urging anyone with information to contact police at the earliest opportunity.”
