Police have arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of causing an explosion to endanger life.
The blast took place yesterday at around 12:40pm on Cecil Road, Manchester, damaging properties and injuring five men. Two of which remain in hospital, one fighting for his life and the other in a stable condition.
Police arrested the suspect in hospital and residents have now been allowed back into their homes.
