27 People Arrested In Halifax Drugs Raids

    Suspected drug dealers in Halifax have been targeted in a major operation by police.

    27 people have been arrested on suspicion of over 60 separate offences, with a number of people charged.

    Warrants were executed at addresses across Halifax with 27 arrests, of which 15 men and 2 women have since being charged with drugs offences.

    All are to appear at Calderdale Magistrates Court next week.

    Items seized as part of house searches include a substantial amount of cash and drug production paraphernalia. Equipment for use in credit card fraud and a stolen motor vehicle were also recovered.

    District Commander Chief Superintendent Dickie Whitehead said; "We will not tolerate those who think it is acceptable to conduct their criminal activity in our district.

    "I would continue to ask anyone who has information about drugs or other offences in our district to speak to their local NPT's, or to contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

    Matloob Hussain, 58, of Queens Road, Halifax has been charged with two offences of supplying class A drugs, and two offences of driving whilst disqualified

    Imran Khan, 38, of Queens Road, Halifax has been charged with three offences of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

    Altaf Hussain, 59, of Queens Way, Halifax has been charged with supplying class A drugs, and three offences of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

    Tariq Mahmood, 48, of Beckenham Place, Halifax has been charged with four offences of supplying class A drugs, and one offence of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

    Jamil Zahir, 28, of Mount Pleasant Avenue, Halifax has been charged with four offences of supplying class A drugs

    Nadeem Nazir, 39 of Hammond Street, Halifax has been charged with three offences of supplying class A drugs

    Dale Taylor, 31 of Friendly Street, Halifax, has been charged with 10 offences of supplying class A drugs and one offence of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

    Zack Wilkinson, 26 of Errington Street, Todmorden, has been charged with 12 offences of supplying class A drugs and one offence of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

    Renata Nistrova, 23 of Kashmir Park, Halifax has been charged with two offences of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

    Catherine Boland, 63, of Redcar Street Halifax has been charged with two offences of supplying class A drugs, two offences of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and permitting the use of premises for the supply of class A drugs

    Mohammed Karim, 45, of Shalimar Street Halifax has been charged with three offences of supplying class A drugs and two offences of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

    Amar Shazad, 30, of Hammond Street Halifax has been charged with two offences of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

    Mark Shuttlewood, 43, of Redcar Street Halifax has been charged with four offences of supplying class A drugs

    Nadeem Nassir, 35, of Batley Field Hill, Batley has been charged with one offences of supplying class A drugs and one offence of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

    Darren McHugh, 42, of Clare Hill, Huddersfield has been charged with eight offences of supplying class A drugs

    Sajid Adalet, 40, of Milton Place, Halifax has been charged with possession of class B drugs

    Jan Sivek, 29, of Hammond Street, Halifax has been charged with possession of class A drugs
