A low-intensity explosive was found on board a train in India.
The bomb was discovered on a service bound for Amristar and was dealt with by security personnel at the Amethi railway station in the Utter Pradesh region.
A threat letter was also uncovered and is alleged to have been issued as retribution for the killing of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Abu Dujana. He was killed earlier this month in an operation in Jammu and Kashmir.
The incident comes days before the 70th anniversary of independence.
