Seventy-nine Pakistan police officers suspended after litigant shot at court

    79 police officers in Pakistan have been suspended after a litigant was shot dead at a court.

    Misri Shah was about to leave a court in the Sukkur district after attending the hearing of a case pertaining to ownership of land when he was killed, allegedly by his cousin Jandal Shah.

    The police personnel present at court have been placed under suspension while it is investigated how a firearm was allowed to be taken into the premises.
