A senior leader of the opposition party in the Sindh region of Pakistan was killed after being shot outside his home.
Dr Naushad of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement was gunned down by unknown assailants in Hyderabad yesterday, 25 October.
Local reports say the attackers left on a motorbike.
In September another leader of the MQM party, Khawaja Izharul Hassan, was the target of an assassination attempt in Karachi's Buffer Zone area. Hassan managed to escape unhurt.
