Large fire breaks out in Mumbai slum

    A large fire broke out at a slum in Mumbai.

    At least one person was injured in the blaze close to the eastern side of the Bandra railway station yesterday, 26 October.

    Reports claim 16 fire engines attended the scene of the fire, which local residents suspect was caused by the explosion of a gas cylinder.

    It is believed a large-scale demolition drive was being carried out at the time of the incident by the local authority.
