Baby declared dead shows signs of life at funeral in Bangladesh

    A newborn baby declared dead by staff at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in Bangladesh showed signs of life as she was about to be buried.

    The death certificate shows the child, named Mim, was delivered stillborn in the morning. A cemetery worker, who was washing the baby prior to burial, seen she was in fact still alive.

    The child is currently in critical care in hospital an it is believed her condition has improved.

    A hospital spokesperson said comment would be issued following a full inquiry.
