England Tourism Week is all about promoting travel within England and experiencing what’s on offer in our own backyard, instead of jetting off overseas.
The hunt for England’s next ‘Tourism Superstar’ has nearly reached its climax, with 10 local heroes of English tourism championing their local areas and vying for the number one spot throughout ‘English Tourism Week’ (ETW), which takes place from Saturday 17th March.
Alicia Stabler, from York, has made it into the coveted final ten and will find out at the end of ETW whether she’s been selected for the big prize itself.
She joins us to speak about her work as a tour guide and to tell us what we should take away from ETW.
