Today is World Water Day (22 march) and the Bathroom Manufacturers Association is warning consumers to check that new bathroom products they purchase carry the CE mark. Despite the fact it’s a legal requirement for products sold in the UK to carry the mark, there is evidence that retailers are still stocking products that fail to meet this standard.
They’re also asking customers to check if products carry the Unified Water Label, which shows how much water and energy a product uses.
