A year on from the ‘Beast from the East’, new research by real‐time traffic app Waze unveils what makes Brits nervous about driving in adverse conditions.
42% of those surveyed in Yorkshire & Humber do not feel confident driving or getting in a car in adverse weather, with almost half (48%) admitting to avoiding the roads at any sign of snow.
To tell us more about the research and how to become more confident in adverse conditions we were joined by Nick Lloyd, Acting Head of Road Safety at Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA), and Finlay Clark, UK Country Manager of Waze.
