Woman set on fire by molesters in India

A woman on route to a police station was set on fire by the men who allegedly molested her days earlier in India.

It is believed she was on her way to lodge a complaint with the police in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh when the attack occurred.

The 22-year-old has sustained serious burns and is in a critical condition.

The BBC reports that the police are accused of previously turning the woman away. Both suspects have been arrested and three policemen have been suspended.
